Follow Danny King at PGA Q-school

On the back of his success at the Canadian Open earlier this year, our firm decided to sponsor Milton’s Danny King as he climbs the mountain this week at the PGA Q-School in Spring, Texas. The Globe and Mail also has coverage of the Canadian contingent.

Danny is the head teaching professional at Magna Golf Club, just north of Toronto. Last year he missed the cut for round two of Q-school by a single stroke. He’s a very talented golfer, and a prince of a fellow, and we decided to be Danny’s first corporate sponsor. Danny shares many of our firm’s own values, including professionalism, loyalty, honesty and a strong work ethic. And he doesn’t take himself too seriously, either.

Danny finished with an eagle on 18 yesterday to move to 4 off the cut, and we wish him well as the first week of Q-school ends today with a tough 36 holes.
