Love that Andy Nulman
Mutual admiration societies are just so unpopular that they might actually make a comeback. Kind of like what Britney Spears is trying to do through the L.A. bar scene? Ok. More likely to come back than that.
Andy Nulman is President of portfolio company Airborne Entertaiment, who recently (along with CEO Garner Bornstein) sold a majority of their business for $110 million; bunch of grateful VC shareholders got to play along, ourselves included. So we love him for that. And that he is a founder of the 25+ year Just For Laughs Festival. (Best seats in the house. Former PMs even call him). And that he is welcomed with open arms by every single cool Montreal restaurant owner — reservations are unnecessary if you’re with Andy. But watch out for the wine list, as they bring out the one where the wines START at $750/bottle. This is also something to love. Unless you’re getting laid out by this, and not in the fun way.
This week though, Andy was kind enough to give us a plug on his compelling blog for our charitable efforts. So we love him two times over for that! One free loan for Andy (what am I saying?)
