Redknee AIMing for an exit
In the wake of a largely successful offering by Redline, it sounds as though Redknee is planning to go out next week on the AIM hustings.
This will be the 2nd IPO attempt for Redknee, after testing the local window in early 2004. Unfortunately for the company, an errant quarter made it impossible to proceed at the pre-money valuation proposed at the time (perhaps at any valuation). But, thanks to the perseverance of the management team and employees, they are coming off a rousing 2006, and are set up nicely for a good launch next week with great year-over-year revenue growth.
CEO Lucas Skoczkowski deserves ample credit for sticking to his gameplan. He’s delightfully frank, full of good humour and knows the business so well you wonder if he actually helps the software engineers program the code to this day.
Investors will enjoy the roadshow.
