Has upticking returned to the TSX?

Month end was last Friday. I watch a bunch of stocks for a variety of reasons, both historical and current. As I spun through the list yesterday I noticed a few that had very nice bounces on August 31st. Mostly towards the end of the trading day. Interesting timing.

Atlantis Systems (AIQ) up 12.5% on 81k shares traded; move began at noon and carried on through to the close

Coventree (COF) up 12.5% on 142k shares traded; spiked several times during the trading day

Digital Dispatch (DD) up 17% on 1k shares traded; move occurred between 2:00pm and 3:30pm

Qustream (QVC) up 24% on 6k shares traded; moved up from 10:00am and kept going

Syscan International (SYA) up 19% on 90k shares traded; most of the move happened between 12:30pm and 2:30pm

Interesting timing, indeed. The TSX was up 216 points (1.6%), but the big jumps in these particular names were largely on small $ volume. Will it get the attention of Market Surveillance at Regulation Services?
