“Versant Partners picks off two from Loewen Ondaatje McCutcheon – Clean Tech Research Analyst Massimo Fiore who is based in Montreal and Salesperson Spyros Karellas who is working in the Toronto office.

Candice Williams has joined Genuity Capital Markets, starting in the New Year in Vancouver, as their new Consumer Products Equity Research Analyst. She was previously covering the sector at Raymond James.

And in a second move to Genuity, Equity Research Associate Evan Minsky, has left Clarus Securities to support the Tech group.

Dan Bruno has joined Westwind Partners as a Managing Director in Investment Banking. Dan was previously a Director focused on Tech, Telecom and Communications at GMP Securities.

ITG Canada hired Mike Barclay to head Broker-Dealer Sales. Barclay was previously with TriAct Canada.

Esam El-Makkawy has joined TD Securities as an Equity Research Associate supporting Biotech Analyst Lennox Gibbs. Esam was previously a Trader and Research Associate at UBS and at CIBC World Markets in Merchant Banking.
