Hunger Strike – Day Eight
It is 6:00 am, and there was a piece brewing about how ironic it would be if Magna shareholders vote in favour of accepting Frank Stronach’s proposal to wipe away his super-voting shares, only to have the Ontario Securities Commission overrule them on the basis that the shareholders deserved more guidance from the Special Committee. But, with the blogging hunger strike and all, that’s a no-no.
In parting, I would pass along the news that I got a nice care package yesterday from a member of the 4th estate. He/She says that he/she occassionally has the same problems getting attribution from some of the writers at Globe and Mail as I do. This was meant to be encouraging, of course. But, it really just demonstrated the mountain that I have to climb.
Don’t hold out much hope that this hunger strike will succeed, dear reader. Perhaps I’ll pull the chute at Day 10.
